The highly anticipated Tech 4 Good Challenge 2024 is now open for registration and proposal submission, until March 1, 2024. Following the success of the first competition, Tech 4 Good Challenge offers an impressive total prize pool of RM24,000, inviting teams with exceptional talents to vie for the reward.
This year, ViTrox Technologies and University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT) are running another call for Malaysian secondary and tertiary students to form teams of three, to address real-world problems confronting our society today by utilizing the engineering design process.
With the goal to equip students with essential “21-century skills”, Tech 4 Good Challenge promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects among Malaysian secondary and tertiary students, by providing a platform for students with a passion for science and technology to showcase their innovative and creative thinking.
What is Tech 4 Good Challenge
Tech 4 Good Challenge, which is now entering its second year of inventive competition, is the first national invention competition in Malaysia to be jointly organized by local technology companies and academia. Organized by ViTrox Technologies and UTAR FICT, and coordinated by ViTrox Academy, the judging panel is composed of experienced engineers from industry, research professors from academia, and front-line practitioners in education.
