Industrial training, also simply described as internship, provides a good opportunity for students to build connectivity and gain industry insight that is relevant to their field of study, potential interests, technical and soft skills.

Industrial training is usually placed during the final year of the study where students have to undertake before graduation. In certain degree, industrial training may also begin during the first or second year of study.
